DeplexifyAML · United Kingdom Terms

About two minutes. You don't pay anything on this page.

Let's get you started

HMRC expects your risk assessment and your written policies to exist when you apply. It can require the risk assessment as part of your application (regulation 57(2)(f)), and its own guidance says it may reject or refuse an application if you don't have these in place.

£295 — AML Documents Pack. Four documents, written for your business from your answers and delivered within one working day of payment: a gap analysis of where you actually stand, your practice-wide risk assessment under regulations 18 and 18A, your written policies, controls and procedures under regulations 19 and 19A, and a compliance calendar carrying your own dates. You review, correct and adopt them.
£495 — Done-with-you. The same pack, plus a call to work through the gap analysis with you, fill in properly what we've had to flag as missing, and settle the open questions before you adopt anything.
No VAT — we're not VAT-registered. Launch pricing, confirmed in writing before any invoice issues · full terms.

Led by a chartered accountant, qualified twenty years, across UK audit, practice and government finance.

The 21 days, said accurately

You'll see it written elsewhere that you have 21 days from applying to HMRC. That isn't what the Regulations say. Under regulation 57(3), HMRC may require you to provide further information within 21 days beginning with the date the requirement is issued — the clock starts when HMRC asks, not when you apply. Miss it and regulation 59(1)(a) says HMRC may refuse to register you.

Which is the real point: the 21 days is only a problem if the documents don't exist yet. HMRC must give you its decision within 45 days of your application, or of receiving what it asked for (regulation 59(2)). And you can trade as soon as you've applied — regulation 56(5) — though trading as an estate agency business without being registered at all is a criminal offence.

1. Your business
2. What you actually do

This section decides whether you need us at all, so it's worth thirty seconds. A lettings-only agency under the rent threshold very likely isn't caught by the Regulations on that work — and we'd rather tell you that than sell you a pack.

Answer this honestly rather than optimistically — "no" and "not sure" are completely normal answers and they don't cost you anything.

3. Terms

The short version — the full terms take about three minutes and are worth reading:

  • Flat fees — £295 Documents Pack, £495 done-with-you. No VAT: we aren't VAT-registered. Launch pricing, confirmed in writing before any invoice issues.
  • Documents Pack: paid up front by payment link; delivered within one working day of payment; refundable until generation begins, and not once delivered.
  • Done-with-you: 50% to begin and 50% on approval, before anything is delivered.
  • Drafts are watermarked DRAFT and stay ours until they're paid for.
  • We prepare, you adopt. You review every document, correct it and adopt it. The approval happens inside your business.
  • We work from what you tell us. We don't audit or verify it, and we can't.
  • This is not legal advice and not an assurance engagement.
  • We don't act as your money laundering reporting officer or your compliance officer. Regulation 21(3) requires an individual in the firm, and both roles stay with you.
  • We don't make suspicious activity reports. Those are your nominated officer's to make and to judge, under Part 7 of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 and Part 3 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
  • We don't submit your HMRC registration, pay your fees or sign any declaration.
  • If we wrote your policies, we can't provide the independent audit function under regulation 21(1)(c) — it has to be independent of whoever wrote them.
  • Your legal obligations stay yours. Engaging us doesn't move them.

Nothing is charged by this form. On the Documents Pack you get a payment link on the next screen and by email; on done-with-you the link is for the 50% start payment and the balance is invoiced on your approval; on "advise me" we talk first.
